Leadership
General Responsibilities
Consistory: Elders and deacons are part of the church consistory, which consist of representatives from all three congregations. The consistory is the main governing body for Newtown Church. The consistory meets every other month.
English Leadership Team: English congregation’s elders and deacons form the English leadership team. The leadership team oversees all the English ministries of the church. The English leadership team meets monthly.

Deacons
Facilitate communication between:

Committees
Each elder and deacon are assigned to a committee. Each committee oversees a set of ministries, and oversees the budget. Elders and deacons are to support, develop and care for ministries under them.
